STUDIO X PRIVACY POLICY

STUDIO X, LLC - PRIVACY POLICY

STUDIO X, LLC (“Studio X,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices available to you, including the rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”).

This Policy applies to information we collect through our websites, our booking and membership platforms, our text and email communications, and our physical studio locations (collectively, the “Services”).

Effective Date: June 23rd, 2026 | Last Updated: June 23rd, 2026

1.  Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us:

Sensitive personal information. Health-related details you disclose may be considered “sensitive personal information” under the CCPA. We use this information only to provide safe instruction and for the purposes described in this Policy, and not to infer characteristics about you. You are never required to disclose health information, but doing so helps us keep your class experience safe.

  • Directly from you — when you create an account, book or attend a class, purchase a membership, package, or product, sign a waiver, contact us, or speak with an instructor.

  • Automatically — through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies when you use our website (see Section 5).

  • From third parties — including our scheduling and payment platforms (Mindbody for our Orange County studios and Mariana Tek for our Los Angeles studios), third-party booking channels such as ClassPass and Gympass, and advertising and analytics partners.

2. How We Collect Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including processing bookings, memberships, payments, and applicable late-cancellation or no-show fees;

  • Adapt classes to your needs and support your safety based on information you voluntarily share;

  • Communicate with you about your account, reservations, waitlist status, and changes to schedules or policies;

  • Send marketing and promotional messages by email and text message, where permitted (see Section 6);

  • Personalize, analyze, and improve the Services and measure the performance of our marketing;

  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Services and prevent fraud; and

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information as follows:

  • Service providers — vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as our scheduling and payment platforms (Mindbody and Mariana Tek), payment processors, email and SMS providers, hosting providers, and analytics providers, under contracts that limit their use of the information.

  • Third-party booking channels — ClassPass, Gympass, and similar platforms, when you book through them.

  • Advertising partners — platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google, through cookies and pixels, for analytics and advertising. Under the CCPA, this type of disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered “sharing” (see Section 5 and Section 7).

  • Legal and safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Studio X, our clients, or others.

  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. How We Share Your Information

Our website uses cookies, tags, and pixels (including via Google Tag Manager) and may use advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel. These technologies help us operate and analyze the website, remember your preferences, and measure and deliver advertising, including retargeting ads on platforms like Meta and Google.

Because some of these technologies disclose information to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, this activity may be considered “sharing” under the CCPA. You can opt out as described in Section 7. You can also control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as a valid opt-out of sharing for browsers that send it.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

6.1 Email

If you receive marketing emails from us, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any such email. We may still send you non-promotional, transactional messages about your account, bookings, or payments.

6.2 Text Messages (SMS)

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages from Studio X at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

  • To opt out, reply STOP to any text message. For help, reply HELP.

  • We will not share your mobile opt-in or phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6. Marketing Communications (Email and Text Messages)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA, subject to certain exceptions:

  • Right to know / access — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

  • Right to delete — to request deletion of personal information we collected from you.

  • Right to correct — to request correction of inaccurate personal information.

  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — to opt out of the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — to the extent we use such information beyond permitted purposes.

  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at admin@studioxpilates.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” To opt out of sharing for advertising, you may enable a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. We will verify your request and may ask for information to confirm your identity. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

7. Your California Privacy Rights

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account and membership history, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are directed to adults. Individuals between 12 and 17 may participate in classes only with a parent or guardian present, and a parent or guardian must provide any related information on the minor’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us personal information improperly, please contact us so we can address it.

Our Services may link to or rely on third-party websites and platforms (such as Mindbody, Mariana Tek, ClassPass, and Gympass) that operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
